In room 126 of the South Building, everyday from 10:53 to 11:45 A.M., a
group of 20 people create an experience that several call English. Some
days a lot of reading and writing happen. Most days a lot of speaking fills
the air, but not quite enough listening. No one is ever sure exactly what
is going on, but everyone seems to help the time together make sense by
the end of the period. Well, that's a brief introduction to the time and
space which bring together the people and ideas you can explore in the web
pages originating below.
The Class Cast provides links to the home pages of each
class member.
The Class Interests are pages on special topics
maintained by a small group of the class members.
A Class Review describes many of the experiences we
have had this year.
Here are some pictures of our class in the computer lab, which is room 127
just across the hall. We have a view of the room
with Tanya heading for the door, and a shot of Nikki and Kristina scanning
images for their web pages (with Rob in the background), and Dave holding
up Mike's identical letters. We write a lot of
letters in our class.
