Science:Students can study the illnesses, diseases, wounds, and medical technology at that time.
Technology: A study of the weaponry used in battle.
Math: Students can learn about the value of money during the Civil War as well as inflation and modern day value of money.
Art: Students can study political cartoons, make paper mache models of the battlefields, crafts, wartime etchings, and modern day recreations, photography of Matthew Brady.
Music: Students can listen to Civil War music and poetry. They could study the instruments and examine the important role music played in the war.
