An activity that my students love is to play "Name That Dinosaur" Begin by drawing 2 indenticalcircles on the board/overhead. Divide each circle into 4-6 sections. Number the sections. Divide the class into two teams.(A and B) Team A chooses a number from the circle, for example -3. I give 3 clues about a dinosaur and the team gets one guess to correctly identify the dinosaur. If the correct anwer is given, the number is erased. If an incorrect answer is given the other team has the opportunity to answer. The first team to have all numbers erased is the "winner".
