The Holy Grail

Courage- actually the overabundance of courage- is a main theme in this scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The brave Arthur, King of the Britains, while searching for knights to help him with his quest for the Holy Grail, encountered the fearless Black Knight. After refusing to join Arthur on his quest, the knight challenged Arthur to a fight. Although Arthur witnessed the Black Knight brutally fight another knight to his death, his courage led him to fight and win. The Black Knight's extreme need to win caused him to lose all of his limbs; yet he refused to admit defeat, calling his amputations mere "flesh wounds" and "scratches." At the end of the scene, he settled for calling it a draw.
