1996 Summer Computer Camp for Girls

This menu page links the sites created in a two-week computer summer camp for girls. During the camp the young women were introduced to a variety of programmes/software to create hypermedia to represent their identities. The camp participants digitized images, video, audio, produced quicktime movies, wrote HTML documents, explored various activities on the world wide web, and authored hypermedia (StorySpaces). They also researched an issue of interest to them, producing a group hypertext to share their findings.
