Welcome to the wonderful world of Heather!
Hello, I'm Heather Robb, I'm 17 and I'm currently a SENIOR, (yeh), at State College Area High School. I don't have much of a life out side of going out with my boyfriend Scott, going to work, and sitting in front of a computer. Gee, sounds like sooo much fun, doesn't it? Actually, to tell the truth, I'm hardly ever bored with Scott around and I can sit in front of a computer for hours and never notice a whole day going by. But enough about that, lets talk about me of a minute.
I love to play Ultimate Frisbee! That is one of the funnest things to do in this world. Some people would disagree with me, and they are entitled to their opinions, but the game still rocks. You get a good work out while trying to beat about 19 of your other friends into the ground. It's much more fun then it sounds.
The beginning of the summer has brought new things for me to try, for instance I recently participated in a computer camp for girls since the computer engineering fields and other such computer related topics seem to be uniformly male. It sounded interesting in May when I got the papers on it from a friend, so I decided to try it and ended up getting my page here and some useful knowledge about these machines called computers. At least stuff that I didn't already learn from my computer geek of a boyfriend. (I don't mean anything bad from that sweetie!!)
I got to do this really nifty stuff in this camp, like digitizing film, audio, and still pics. I didn't really know how to do that before, but I'm glad that I finally learned how. Before this camp I was semi literate of computers, but now I know much more then I did, and I have the feeling that I never would have learned this stuff from Scott. No offense to him of course, but he would have never had the time nor the patience to try to teach me this stuff.
In any case, I don't think this page will be on here very long. At the most six months, so come meet me while you still can. I don't have an e-mail address currently either, so that pretty much eliminates the possibility of receiving mail from any of you wonderful people out there. Sorry!
Here are a few others that participated in the computer camp with me.
Check out their pages as well!
