Disillusionment With Social Worlds

Through the following pages we are are examining the theme of disillusionment with one's social world within the novels The Giver and Nectar in a Sieve. Disillusionment, in our definition, means the conflicting psuedo-enviroments (how one perceives their world as in comparision with what really goes on in that world). As context for examining this topic, we are incoporating other texts, modern media such as music, and popular art.
