Puerto Rican Stories in English for Teachers

This page has been created to help classroom teachers locate stories on and about Puerto Ricans from both the island and those living on the mainland. You can locate information on these stories from a series of options listed below.

This will hopefully give you a chance of becoming more acquainted with the available literature in English on Puerto Rico and on ways these can be used in your classrooms.

This project has been created to recognize and honor the valuable work of yesterday and today's writers and illustrators of children's and young adult's literature; those whose work will hopefully be continued by others in the next millennium.
